Animal Bento Sushi

During March holiday, the girls learnt how to make Animal Bento sushi at Nex.  They were all geared up to make their Bento set.

These are their masterpiece.  The one on top was made by Alyssa and the one on the bottom was made by Breanna.

They can't wait to eat their bento set once reached home.  Yum Yum...

Cartoon Drawing

The other day, while we were shopping at Robinson @ Centrepoint, a lady suddenly went up to me asking if she could make a cartoon drawing for the girls and we would get to keep it as souvenir. She was engaged by Robinson to provide this free service.  The picture was nicely drawn.

Breanna also get to make the sushi roll using the sushi maker set which was selling in the shop.

Daddy's Breakfast

Today, Daddy cooked western breakfast for us.  Got egg, cheese, sausages and ham.  Yum Yum.

Trip to Ikea and Giant

We were expecting some guests tomorrow. While Breanna was attending her birthday party, we brought Alyssa to Ikea and Giant to grab some stools and food.

As usual, we will buy the hot dog bun and ice cream from Ikea. While we were waiting in the car park for Daddy, Alyssa was sitting inside the trolley enjoying herself eating the hot dog bun .

At Giant, we saw Singapore flag for sale. Alyssa suggested to buy a flag to hang at our balcony. Too bad there were no more stock for the size that we were looking for.

Cleaning Time!!

The girls helped to clean the house today. They were having great fun. Breanna was very detailed in her cleaning whereas Alyssa was more like playing.

Breanna was sick

School reopened on Jun 29th. Breanna came back from school that evening and complaint of stomach cramp and fever. We had to bring her to see doctor and was told that she had stomach flu. She was given 2 days MC.

On the 3rd day, she had diarrhea and 奶奶 brought her to see another doctor since we did not have any medicine. She was given another day MC.

By the 4th day, her fever still had not subsided and the stomach cramp was still there. I was worried since it had been so long. This time we rushed her down to KK hospital A&E department. The doctor did a blood test for her and she cried badly even before the nurse do the finger prick. She was given antibiotics and another 3 days MC. Immediately after taken the medicine from KK Hospital, her fever subsided and no more stomach cramp. She missed school for the whole week :(

When she returned to school on the following Tuesday, since Monday was a Public holiday, as expected, she was given a lot of homework. That night, she did her homework until 12am and was not able to complete. So she had to continue to do her homework next morning before she goes to school.

Poor Breanna...hope she will not fall sick again.
