School reopened on Jun 29th. Breanna came back from school that evening and complaint of stomach cramp and fever. We had to bring her to see doctor and was told that she had stomach flu. She was given 2 days MC.
On the 3rd day, she had diarrhea and 奶奶 brought her to see another doctor since we did not have any medicine. She was given another day MC.
By the 4th day, her fever still had not subsided and the stomach cramp was still there. I was worried since it had been so long. This time we rushed her down to KK hospital A&E department. The doctor did a blood test for her and she cried badly even before the nurse do the finger prick. She was given antibiotics and another 3 days MC. Immediately after taken the medicine from KK Hospital, her fever subsided and no more stomach cramp. She missed school for the whole week :(
When she returned to school on the following Tuesday, since Monday was a Public holiday, as expected, she was given a lot of homework. That night, she did her homework until 12am and was not able to complete. So she had to continue to do her homework next morning before she goes to school.
Poor Breanna...hope she will not fall sick again.
